Elle's arrival...

Okay- so I've been a little busy and just now getting around to updating the blog. As most of you all have figured out- we have welcomed our little girl into the world. Last Thursday, October 23rd, Elle Saxon was born 6 lbz 8 oz at 8:23 a.m. She is healthy and beautiful and getting used to her new home and bulldog sisters.

It was a little sudden and unexpected- not quite what we were planning on- but life is never planned! After a doctors visit last Wednesday, they fortunately found out that the amniotic fluid was really low and Elle was breech so mommy was admitted to the hospital immediately with a c section planned for the next morning. After all the anticipation- we were woken up bright and early and whisked away to surgery. Kyle became a "man" that day (or so he claims!) and watched the entire surgery- with no passing out. For those that know Kyle- this was one great feat...

After 3 more long days in the hospital and bowls of disgusting hospital chicken noodle soup later- we got to go home on Sunday afternoon and introduce Elle to her crazy canine sisters. And thus the adventures in parenthood begin...
